As Hospitality, we are tasked with the awesome responsibility of welcoming all our guests, preparing and maintaining an environment for the word of God to be preached and for the ministry of the Holy Spirit.

Our goal is to serve God, greet our guests with a smile to make them feel welcome, and compel them to come back again. We desire that each of our guests’ first time experience will be so memorable that subsequent visits will be a must.

We are also taught by God to give honor where honor is due (Romans 13:7) and that those that labor in the Word and teaching are counted worthy of double honor (1 Timothy 5:17).  As a result, not only do we specialize in ministering to the practical needs of the congregation, we do the same and more for our Ministry Gifts, our Pastor and Ministers.  These are the gifts that God has given to us as a body of believers and we highly esteem and treasure them greatly.  Anything that we can do to make what they do easier is our heart and purpose.  And in deed it is our honor and privilege.

The Word of God teaches us in 1 Corinthians 14:40 to let all things be done decently and in order.  This truly is the heartbeat behind every aspect of each assignment, position, and function of the Hospitality team.
